MURFREESBORO, TN / ACCESSWIRE / November 16, 2020 / National Health Investors, Inc. (NYSE:NHI) today provided a business update regarding its monthly contractual rent collections and average occupancy from its three largest senior housing operators.
NHI collected 87.7% of contractual rent in November, 92.7% for the fourth quarter to date. Bickford rent deferrals for the fourth quarter to date totaled $3.0 million, or 5.5% of contractual rent for the quarter and 11.0% for the month of November. The remaining balance relates primarily to one additional tenant concession as well as lower forecasted revenue from transitioned properties prior to the start of the pandemic.
